• Social media credentials: OAuth access tokens from platforms you connect (TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X). We store only the tokens needed to post on your behalf — we never store your social media passwords.
• Content you upload: videos, images, captions, and scheduling data you provide through the platform.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to help us improve the Service.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you use the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and deliver the Service (scheduling and publishing your content).
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• Communicate with you about your account and important Service updates.
• Improve, personalize, and develop new features for the Service.
• Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized activity.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. TikTok Data — Specific Disclosure

When you connect your TikTok account to CupidoHQ, we collect and process the following TikTok-related data:

• TikTok OAuth access token and refresh token: used exclusively to publish content to TikTok on your behalf. These tokens are encrypted at rest and never shared with third parties.
• TikTok account profile information: your TikTok username and account ID, used to identify which account to post to and to display in our interface.
• TikTok analytics data: video views, likes, comments, and follower counts — accessed only when you explicitly request analytics within CupidoHQ and used solely to display your performance metrics to you.
• Content data: video files, captions, thumbnails, and scheduling details that you upload to CupidoHQ for publication on TikTok.

How we use TikTok data:

• To schedule and publish videos to TikTok at the times you specify.
• To display your TikTok account information within the CupidoHQ dashboard.
• To show you analytics and performance data for your TikTok content.

What we do NOT do with TikTok data:

• We do not share your TikTok data with any third parties.
• We do not use your TikTok data for advertising or marketing purposes.
• We do not access your TikTok account beyond the permissions you explicitly grant.
• We do not store TikTok video content after it has been successfully published.

You can revoke CupidoHQ's access to your TikTok account at any time through TikTok's "Manage app permissions" settings, or by disconnecting the account from within CupidoHQ.

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Hetzner data centers, EU). We apply industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.

Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your CupidoHQ account.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded content files are deleted from our servers after they have been published or if you manually delete them. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Portability: request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: object to certain types of processing of your personal data.

CupidoHQ integrates with third-party platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X) to deliver the Service. When you connect these accounts, your use of those platforms is also governed by their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

9. Children's Privacy

CupidoHQ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at support@cupidohq.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
